Vortex

Vortex began in the mid-80's when the Hamilton family moved to Wisconsin and opened a store selling supplies to people who loved wildlife and the outdoors. It didn't take long to see the need for supplying our customers with good optics, and that started what grew to be a major part of our business. We sold all the popular brands and, by listening to our cusomters, helped the industry develop and market many of the innovative features you see in modern optics today.

Fast-forward to the mid 90's when we started our own brand of affordable, high performing binoculars and the response encouraged us to forge ahead. A few years ago, we decided to develop a brand of highly sophisitcated products designed to meet the needs of the most demanding and discriminating observers - the brand you know as Vortex.

If we were to describe what Vortex stands for in three simple words they would be: People, Products, Promises.

People - The Customer is King. We not only believe this is true, but we actually treat you, our dealers and customers, like royalty. That means we care about all the little things long after the sale is made. If you ever have a problem with one of our products, then we make that our problem, no questions asked.
