  This dot sight is simple to use, fast sight aqisition, and a perfect fit for a freedom arms 500JRH. It seems to be verry sturdy consdering the recoil on the 500. wide range of adjustment is icing on the cake.

  i put this on my rifle as a co-witness to a scope. it surprised me when i found that there were no buttons on it, it automatically adjusts for light and is always on so there is no need for any buttons. with the cap on battery life is over 4yrs, with the cap off it's life is over 2yrs. as we all know the less complicated something is the less chance it has off breaking, in this case no buttons is a good thing.
