  With all the performance features of the new ProStaff Rimfire big game riflescopes, the NIKON ProStaff Rimfire 3-9x40 Rifle Scope, BDC 150 Reticle, Matte Black (6725) provides a new level of performance for fans of the venerable .22 long rifle cartridge.

  Nikon shifts the old thinking that .22 LR is a short range proposition. Through development of a new BDC rimfire reticle and Spot On Ballistic Match Technology, Nikon has set an entirely new set of performance parameters for hunters and shooters looking to get more out of the venerable .22 Long Rifle cartridge.

  This model ProStaff Rimfire scope integrates the .22 LR-specific BDC 150 reticle and a 50-yard parallax setting for confidence and precision out to 150 yards and beyond - with the rimfire 22 long rifle.

  The ProStaff Rimfire offers fully multicoated lenses for maximum brightness and contrast and light transmission up to 92%. Nikon coats all lenses with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds.

  This Rimfire Scope offers a large ocular that makes full use of its wide field of view and quick focus eyepiece with ±4 diopter adjustment. Precise, 1/4 inch @ 50 yds adjustments with an incredible 150 MOA adjustment range (@ 100 yds) get you zeroed in quicker and maintain your setting - even with heavy recoil.

  To simplify field adjustments, Nikon has integrated Zero-Reset turrets into all new riflescopes. Zero-Reset turrets allow you to sight-in at 50 yards, then lift the spring-loaded adjustment knob, rotate to your "zero", and re-engage. Field adjustments are now as simple as dialing-in your subsequent ranges.

  The ProStaff Rimfire 3-9x40 Riflescope is fully waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Optional accessory sunshade eliminates glare in bright conditions and keeps dust and rain off of the objective lens.

  I originally had bought a Hammers 9x40 off Ebay for my SW MP22 what a mistake. Do yourself a favor, come here and buy this BDC150 Nikon 22LR specific scope. After sighting in, I was shooting 1.25 inch groups at 100 yds with CCI Velocitor rounds. The difference of $70 more for the Nikon is easily a value of at least 5x's that. Also these guys shipped out fast, and product as advertised. This is a good scope store. I highly recommend these guys! Rich B.
