  The new king of versatility NIKON ProStaff 4-12x40 Rifle Scope, BDC Reticle, Matte Black (6729) offers the superb optics, Zero-Reset turrets, optimum magnification and field of view to help put virtually any shot in your comfort zone.   The ProStaff riflescope comes with a generous, consistent eye relief, which keeps your brow safe - even with the heaviest recoiling cartridges, lightweight rifles, and severe shooting angles. Fully multicoated optical system provides up to 98% light transmission and maximum brightness from dawn to dusk.

  Precise, 1/4-MOA hand-turn adjustments get you zeroed in quicker and maintain your setting - even with heavy recoil. Quick focus eye piece allows the shooter to instantly bring the reticle into sharp focus.

  To simplify field adjustments, Nikon has integrated Zero-Reset turrets into all new riflescopes. Just sight-in as usual, then lift the spring-loaded adjustment knob, rotate to your "zero", and reengage. Field adjustments are now as simple as dialing-in your subsequent ranges.

  Patented BDC reticle allows hunters to hold "dead-on" at ranges exceeding those previously thought possible. The BDC's unique see-through ballistic circles offer an incredible advantage for long range shooting - yet allow a normal sight picture for shorter-range shots where the crosshair itself is the aiming point.

  Got 2 of these scopes just before Christmas for my son-in-law and me. He did a lot of research & determined this was the best scope out there for the money. We weren't disappointed when we got them. Sighted them in one afternoon on our 223's & were hitting the bullseye by the end of the day at 200 yards. Eye relief is remarkable & like the BDC reticle. Used the Nikon M223 mount. We're happy. Great equipment - great price - great service. Thanks.

  Nice improvements on an already great product. Works as advertised with lots of product support if you need it. Scope was easy to align, bright, and no parallex when you zoom into the 12x magnification mode. Perfect fit for my Ruger 300 WSM.

  excellent rifle scope. probably the best buy on the market. you don`t need anything but a 3x9 with a bdc reticle and you can hit your target out to 600 yds. I bust milk jugs at that distance with no problem.
