  The NIKON M-223 1-4x20 Rifle Scope, Point Blank Reticle, Matte Black (8485) is built to deliver extreme speed, accuracy and shooting confidence. TheM-223 line is engineered for the 223 Rem./5.56mm NATO round with 55-grain polymer tip bullet. Just cover the target with the reticle dot and shoot - the 1-4x20 riflescope makes fast work of rapid fire precision.

  Nikon has engineered the Ultra ClearCoat optical system to provide the shooter with a bright, sharp, incredibly flat sight picture and light transmission up to its theoretical maximum - 95%.

  With an impressive 4-time zoom range and four inches of constant, non-critical eye relief, the M-223 riflescope features massive ocular lenses that deliver a huge, exceptionally bright, high-resolution sight picture.

  The M-223 rifle scope features smooth zoom control - magnification reference numbers are viewable from the shooter's position. This model scope has a one-piece main body tube for minimum weight and maximum strength and durability.

  Available exclusively on the M-223 1-4x20, the Point Blank Reticle delivers fast, extremely accurate shots from zero out to a 200 yard "point blank range" for the 223/5.56mm 55-grain polymer tipped round. The reticle features thick outer posts for fast target reacquisition with a purpose-designed center dot that provides instant targeting for paper and steel targets at various distances. Just cover the target center with the dot and shoot.

  In addition, the Nikon M-223 riflescope is waterproof, fogproof as well as shockproof. It is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed.

  The M-223 1-4x20 riflescope is covered by Nikon's Full Lifetime Warranty.

  Although my expierience with rifle scopes is limited, I found the scope to be very easy to get zeroed on my Ruger SR 556. The view is bright and clear and the 'pop up' caps on the dials ensure that my set is secure unless I choose to change them. The mounting rings I got for it work fine, but next time, I would get some that would allow for quick disconnect.

  well, that is Nikon! so no surprise, the scope offers high accuracy due to wonderful, sharp and bright optics. I also enjoy a lot the feature of smooth zooming and I can effortlessly control the powers numbers as they are easily seen. nice to have and the price is more than affordable.
