  The mainstay of the VX-3 product group, the LEUPOLD VX-3 3.5-10x40 Riflescope, Duplex Reticle, Matte Black (66090) will be found atop more rifles than any other VX-3 model. Its mid-range magnification levels and moderate size make it extremely adaptable to a wide range of shooting conditions and game.

  The VX-3 Rifle Scope has a unique Leupold's Xtended Twilight Lens System. The system uses index matched glass with proprietary lens coatings that rebalance blue and purple wavelengths to provide hunters with an even brighter, sharper image in low-light conditions.

  Blackened lens edges eliminate residual refraction and minimize the effects of stray light for maximum photopic transmission, clarity and contrast. DiamondCoat 2 - ion-assist lens coating provides higher light transmission while supplying the highest level of abrasion resistance Leupold offers.

  The Leupold VX-3 Rifle Scope features finger-adjustable, 1/4-MOA click windage and elevation adjustments with resettable pointer dials marking the zero point, tactile power indicator with built-in range estimation functions, lockable, fast-focus.

  With the Second generation Argon/Krypton waterproofing - Leupold's exclusive internal gas blend and the last word in thermal shock resistance, you can keep the riflescope fogproof as well as waterproof.

  I bought mine 2nd hand and put it on a 378 Weatherby Magnum rifle. The scope is very clear and has no problem with the recoil. Eye relieve is also adequite. Adolf Lamprecht Cape Town South Africa
