  Smaller and markedly brighter than previous rangefinders, the LEUPOLD RX-1000 Compact Laser Rangefinder (66495) is less than 4 inches long and uses an incredibly vivid OLED display with multiple display-intensity settings.

  The RX-1000 sets new standards of rangefinder performance and incorporates a wide variety of functions. Enjoy the view with multicoated lenses, fold-down eyecup, selectable reticles. Pristine image quality allows this compact laser rangefinder to serve as your full-time optic while the cutting-edge laser and processor generate the fastest, most reliable readings ever produced.

  Use the advanced digital instrument panel with digital signal processing to utilize the RX's quick setup and adjustment, thanks to the Quick Set Menu. This menu allows you to customize your RX to the situation quickly and use multiple modes at the same time when conditions call for it. The one-handed controls make RX-1000 easy to use in the field, even when your hands are sweaty or the weather is at its worst.

  The Leupold rx1000 laser rangefinder allows you to choose any one of the three selectable reticles: Leupold Plus Point, Duplex and Duplex with Leupold Plus Point. The Plus Point reticle is ideal for varmints and other small targets. Small open center avoids coverage of very small or distant targets. The Duplex is a familiar reticle to shooters from riflescopes; draws eye to the center, easy to see, does not cover the target in the center where aiming is most critical.

  The RX-1000 is a top-quality 6x22mm monocular that incorporates the additional benefit of a state-of-the-art laser rangefinder capable of measuring the distance of a deer-sized animal from 10 yards to 500 yards, an inanimate object from 10 yards to 600 yards, and a reflective target from 10 yards to 1,000 yards.

  Packed with features never before offered at this price, the Leupold RX-1000 Compact line significantly raises the bar on function and performance. This Leupold range finder comes with a cordura holster, a battery, a lanyard, instructions and other items.

  Works just as it should. My max distance is about 500 yards and I never had any problems. I think this model has been discontinued, but it's still a great rangefinder. And you can save about $100 just because Leupold introduced a newer model that isn't really better. I like this deal! :)

  While the viewfinder is small and the instructions minimal, the rangefinder functions as advertised. Longest range taken so far was about 600 yards. The menu is intuitive and the instrument is easy enough to use with a little practice.
