  Leupold's DiamondCoat on exterior lens surfaces provides outstanding scratch resistance. Plasma-coated prisms work with the lens system to maximize light transmission for supreme clarity, contrast, and color fidelity. The interpupillary distance-lock feature locks in the distance between your eyes, so no adjustments are necessary during use and you can easily use your binoculars one-handed.

  The Index Matched Lens System has nearly perfected Leupold's already impeccable light management. Leupold engineers specify different coating materials for each lens surface, based on the lens' index of refraction, placement and function, layering each coating to eliminate reflections and maximize light transmission.
