Quality components set ATN’s products above the competition, beginning with optics. ATN uses the highest grade of glass that come almost exclusively from optical grade sands from the shores of the Black and Caspian Seas, and the designs are created using the most advanced computer software available by engineers educated in the US, Germany, Russia, Korea and Japan. The lenses are ground and polished on the same equipment that has produced some of the best satellite optics with tolerances exceeding .0001”. All ATN Front Lens Systems are at least six elements. High apertures and a proprietary IR multi-coating on each lens surface allows maximum light transmission. All these things combine to assure the user of the best image quality possible, with little to no distortion.

Although top quality optics are crucial, the heart of a night vision device (NVD) is the Image Intensifier Tube (IIT). ATN acquires the latest technologies from top US and European producers and builds their own power supplies to assure their customers of the best IITs available.

ATN’s commitment to quality continues with the construction of their optics. Materials include titanium, aircraft quality aluminum alloys to hi-impact plastic composites. 1/8 MOA adjustments on weapon scopes is an excellent example of what our CNC machines can do. We finish the job with O-rings, nitrogen purging and a hard exterior powder coating. This process assures you of a product that is rugged enough to withstand the most brutal conditions you will face in the field.

All ATN night vision products are shipped with a detailed instruction manual, attractive retail gift boxes, all necessary hardware and batteries, as well as a professionally produced video with actual night vision scenes. Most ATN weapon sights and Day/Night systems are packaged in Mil-Spec, foam-inlayed, watertight, unbreakable, airtight, corrosion proof, hard cases (valued at $150).
